❶ Be gentle at first sight
New ONESO jeans are recommended to be washed separately in cold water, which not only fixes the color better, but also allows the tannin fibers to stretch naturally. We use 13.5oz red ear tannin imported from Japan with reactive dyes, and after pre-shrinking treatment we still recommend retaining 2% space for natural shrinkage.
❷ There is a mystery in the washing cycle
Regular wear is recommended to be washed every 3-4 weeks, and can be soaked in table salt + white vinegar for 20 minutes to fix the natural color. For special washed models, it is recommended to turn inside out and machine wash in a laundry bag.
Drying Philosophy
Avoid direct sunlight! Hang upside down in a ventilated area with the metal fittings facing downwards to prevent water damage. Our vintage brass snap buttons have been treated with an anti-oxidizing agent and will retain their luster for up to ten years when properly dried.
❹ The Art of Folding
For long-term storage, triple-fold along the line of the pants and place them upright for maximum protection. each ONESO pant model comes with an exclusive organizer card, and you can scan the QR code to watch a video tutorial on how to fold them.
❺ Repairing is rebuilding.
Finding wear and tear? It's the very badge of denim! We offer free lifetime mending service, using Japanese heavy duty sewing machines with the same color yarn to make the mending marks a unique decoration.
