The Craft, Deeper: Boro, from the Japanese word for "rags," is not a symbol of poverty but a philosophy of "mottainai" (too good to waste). In times of scarcity, fabric was given new life through layered patches and repairs. Our collaborating artisans use traditional Sashiko stitching to "repair" our sturdy denim with precise, running stitches. This is not merely decoration; it's the act of weaving time, memory, and emotion into the very fabric of the garment.

We use 13.5oz+ heavyweight selvedge denim, its rugged hand-feel a nod to gold rush miners, transcontinental railroad workers, and post-war rebels. The classic straight or relaxed cuts, paired with durable copper rivets and shank buttons, ensure timeless functionality.
